Who Is Brad Schneider?

The Illinois Republican Party has created a new website called Who Is Brad Schneider?  It can be accessed by clicking http://whoisbradschneider.com/.  Watch Mr. Schneider hesitate before quietly answering that he feels we are "progressing" and moving forward on jobs and the economy.  The video seems to show Mr. Schneider not believing what he is saying.  If that is the case, then why say it?

The day after Obama 2.0 gave his oration about how things are improving, his Department of Labor released the latest job statistics: Unemployment dropped from 8.3% to 8.1% in August.  Before everyone celebrates, over 380,000 Americans dropped out of job searching or gave up looking for work, while 96,000 new jobs were created.  Combining the dropouts to the new jobs lead to a the 8.3% to 8.1% figures.

Do you really feel that this is a step forward Mr. Schneider or a step backwards?

No wonder Obama 2.0 was trying out different slogans during his acceptance speech last night.  "Forward" clearly isn't happening in the U.S. economy right now.  And we wonder why every major national poll finds a majority of Americans feeling that America is heading in the wrong direction?

  1. Brad would think this is progress, considering he's never held a job of his own. It is becoming very clear that not only is Brad not the best candidate, but also that there is reason to fear him winning this seat. His big government economic policies are not right for this district. We need real independents and fiscal conservatives like Bob Dold.

  2. Maybe Brad Schneider would understand the severity of this recession if his campaign consisted of events other than wine and cheese fundraisers in Highland Park.
