Highland Park Sign Vanishings: Chapter 1

Well, THAT didn't take long!  A corner lot homeowner on Park Avenue in Highland Park not only enthusiastically endorsed Mike Nerheim for State's Attorney, but gave permission to place a Nerheim sign on his property.

That occurred at 10:15 a.m.

By 11:45 a.m. the sign was taken down and tossed.  The sign was recovered and again placed on the property.

At 4:30 p.m. a drive by revealed that the sign had completely vanished.

Twice in one day!

Free political speech in Highland Park remains a problem.

We will be watching this property along with that certain Sheridan Road strip shopping center in Highwood.  Further reports will follow!
