Illinois Review is a blog site heavily populated by Illinois Conservatives. They have taken serious issue with the latest Democratic automated robocalls made in the Illinois 10th Congressional District attacking Congressman Robert Dold and attempting to link him to Rep. Akin's assertions that in cases of "legitimate rape" the female body has some medically unproven method of preventing pregnancy.
You can read their angry tirade here: http://illinoisreview.typepad.com/illinoisreview/2012/08/dccc-desperately-tries-to-tie-dold-to-akin-in-robo-calls.html.
Illinois Review repeatedly calls the assertions made by the Democrats in their automated robocalls lies.
In the meantime, Illinois Conservatives and Tea Party groups continue to attack the prochoice Robert Dold.
But that's not stopping Democrats from their attempts at distorting the truth as to this issue.
Will Brad Schneider disavow these false robocalls? Don't hold your breath!
ADDENDUM: Illinois Review isn't the only one miffed at the Schneider campaign tactics over these robocalls. Greg Hinz of Crain's Chicago Business yesterday in an article reported:
"Meanwhile, Democrats reported making robocalls in the adjoining 10th District aiming to link incumbent Bob Dold to Todd Akin, the Missouri Republican who made those most interesting comments last week about "forcible rape" and how women have what amounts to an on/off biological switch in such cases.
Again, will Brad Schneider disavow these false robocalls?
